Weather This Week

My topic for this week was weather. Out here in the desert SW the weather can change drastically. It can be hot one day, cold the next, windy and/or rainy the next. Yesterday it started out gorgeous, mid 50's temps and then suddenly clouds, sprinkling rain and wind. I hate the wind! I plunked my wool knit cap on my head and did my errands in the weird desert weather.
I know I shouldn't complain about the wind or the rain (we definately need it out here), and I don't have snowbanks up to my rooftop, but as I was reading my knitting blog favorites, there were plenty of people who were trapped in their houses knitting and telling that the weather was foul. And then there are the weather channel meteorologists who love to stand outside in their LL Bean (which I love) outerwear while the snow pelts them in the face and builds up in their ear.
I'm not sure where I'm going with all this, the weather is what it is, and we have no control over it, maybe that's why we're so fascinated with it. I guess iI, too, needed my say about the weather.
